West meets East

On 6 October 2015, I had the reading English strategies class in the morning.
The teacher taught me about " West meets East." When I heard the
topic, I was interested. The class started. She gave us to look at the
powerpoint for reaching the lesson and taught the cultures between the west and
east. I was excited so much because I was allover about the west meets east
cultures. And then she gave to do pre-reading1 and pre-reading2 (Discuss the questions
with a partner.) Next, She gave us to read the story that was the
"Asianization" of the United States. I
found the problems in reading difficult words and incorrect pronunciation and I cannot understand this story and find
the main idea. I solved problems are used skimming, scanning, finding the
main idea in reading and open dictionary on my smartphone and Cambridge
dictionary online training to correct pronunciation. My
attitudes toward this lesson is useful for all students. It can be applied to
the other course or lesson for understanding in reading each of stories.
